Walter Harding reviews Erskine Caldwell's book. He looks favorably on it, but then digs further into Caldwell as a writer and seems to disapprove because of Caldwell’s use of sex appeal. He claims that Caldwell corrupted himself after he reached success. Also attached is Caldwell’s response.
